Search in libraries

The Resource Manager includes an enormous amount of symbols, textures, hatches, … 

The search bar at the top right allows you to easily search for a specific resource. Vectorworks searches the resource name, the labels, and the associated records. 

To make the search a little easier, you can add the characters below to your search.

• *    Example, ch*
  All resources of which the word starts with the letters “ch”.
• **  Example: *ch*
  All resources that include the syllables “st”.
• “”  Example: “Green chair”
  All resources that include “green chair” as a whole.
• NOT  Example: Green NOT chair
  All resources where “green” is present, but not “chair”.
• OR  Example: green OR chair
  All resources that include the word “green” or the word “chair”.
